Wish-list Wednesday

Hey babes, happy Wednesday! I hope everyone's week is going great so far, though I for one cannot wait for the weekend. But if your week has been as busy as mine, hopefully this list will be a bit of a pick me up! I know it is for me while I'm working on my set, I'm just daydreaming about all of these pretty things I can buy once I get my overtime paycheck. Ready to have a look?

1. Rose Colored Sunnies, SheIn

  • As my long time readers know, I am obsessed with sunglasses. I personally feel they are the one accessory you can't have too many of! And when I spotted these ones I instantly wanted to snag a pair. From the unique design and pretty rose coloring, I just know these sunnies will become a fast favorite.

2. Strappy Bralette, SheIn

  • The reason I've been digging the strappy bralette look these days is because they really add a subtle hint of sexiness when paired with active wear, not to mention they look great under a lace top opposed to a basic cami.

3. Studded Flats, SheIn

  • Unfortunately, my beloved Frye flats have seen better days leaving me to look for new ones for this season. And since I have been on a bit of a budget lately, I figured why not turn to my sponsor SheIn who's known for their affordable but fashionable clothing. Needless to say as always they delivered!

4. Short Bohemian Shift Dress, SheIn

  • I've had my eye on this dress for sometime now and considering I'll be visiting back and forth to the sunshine state, I figure why not get a cute dress or two for some nice date nights out in Delray Beach!

5. Red Velvet Ankle Booties, SheIn

  • An other huge fashion trend this fall are velvet ankle booties and these ones would simply go perfectly with an outfit of the day I have coming up featuring some of the new duds I got at ModCloth IRL!

6. Black Lace Jumpsuit, SheIn

  • I adore rompers, so why wouldn't I love a jumpsuit? Also I just adore the lace detailing on this one, it makes it a flirty yet sophisticated look.

7. Nashelle Pinch Cuff in Silver, Rocksbox

  • Lately I've really been digging delicate bracelets and I just thought this would be a nice addition to my collection.

8. A.V. Max Earrings, Rocksbox

  • I just loved the chunky retro vibe of these earrings. I am hoping to rock some more retro looks this season as well and I thought these would be a nice touch!

9. Sugar Body Scrub in Lemon Grass, Beautycounter

  • One of my readers, Deanna, commented on my Beautycounter post awhile back and told me she love this stuff! So needless to say I want to give it a try.

10. Criss-cross Boho Dress, SheIn

  • I actually already bought this dress because as I was perusing SheIn to write this post I noticed there was only one left in my size. Total impulse buy and I regret nothing.

11. Lip Sheer in Rose, Beautycounter

  • Another suggestion from one of my readers, Josey, on my beauty counter post! I'm not one to pass up lipstick, so I figured I should throw it one here.

12. Burgundy Ladder Sleeve Blouse, SheIn

  • This blouse is just simply gorgeous and as always, I adore cut outs so naturally I'd love to add this to my wardrobe.

13. Kendra Scott Lawson Cuff, Rocksbox

  • Another pretty cuff by Kendra Scott. Though this one is a little more dressy, I figured I could use it on those nights I wear my pretty Kate Spade dress.

14. Purifying Charcoal Mask, Beautycounter

  • Ever since I tried Beautycounter's Nourishing Cleanser and their Night Time Moisturizer, I've been hooked! So I figure why not snag a skin prep product or two for my "treat yo' self Sunday's"?

15. Kendra Scott Arianna Earrings, Rocksbox

  • Same as the A.V. Max earrings, I just am really digging the retro feel of these babies!

#OOTD: Flattering Fall Layers (Feat. SheIn)

Leaves are changing, the air is crisp, and pumpkins galore! Though fall has been in full swing for a couple weeks now, I'm just starting to really get into the spirit. So before I went downtown for some fall fun in South Side, I tested the temperature while making a run for my morning Americano and was pleased to discover at a breezy 67 degrees, it finally felt like fall. And at that, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to break out my new jacket compliments of my sponsor SheIn.

Autumn is for Army Jackets

Honestly, I've been digging the army jacket trend since earlier this year, however Pittsburgh's (unusually) warm spring this past season made it very difficult for me to style this piece earlier. However, now that the weather is cooling down and jackets with patch work are a major must have for this fall, I finally got the chance to show this baby off!

The reason I love this piece from SheIn so much is because even though this chic jacket is light weight due to it being made of nylon material, its also just the right amount of warm to keep you cozy on a cool fall day. This jacket is also very well made and fits just right! I also loved the fact that it has deep pockets and that the collar and cuffs are extremely soft.

And just to brighten up my outfit a bit, I paired my dark green jacket with my yellow "Scientist" tee. This tee has been a favorite of mine ever since I received from SheIn back in March due to quirkiness. I really like the character the rough cut gives this tee, as well as the playfulness of the Einstein graphic. And I'm not going to lie, the compliments I get on this shirt every time I wear it helped it become a fast favorite too!

And lastly, as I hinted a few posts ago, I've gotten some major street style inspiration from fall fashion week this year. So to pull this whole urban look together I decided to wear my favorite boyfriend jeans (definitely a fall essential of mine) cuffed at the ankle just enough not to take away from my Anne Klein pumps. And as for the finishing touches, I added my cat eye sunnies from Versona, my Jenny Bird Flagstaff earrings, and my House of Harlow 1960 ring, both compliments of Rocksbox

Bath Time Essentials With Maple Holistics

After a long day I love absolutely nothing more than to get home, undress, and take a dip in a nice, warm bubble bath. I'm sure if you've checked out my Beauty Routine you can tell I tend to take my bath time to a whole other level. Between bath bombs, essential oils, espom salts, and bubble bars, I am all about relaxation and amazing aromas. So naturally I was totally stoked when Hayley from Maple Holistics contacted me to collaborate and review one of their products!

What is Maple Holistics?

Firstly, you're probably wondering what Maple Holistics is. Well, Maple Holistics is a company that originated in Cleveland, Ohio, but is now based out of central New Jersey, which is where all of their products are made. They specialize in personal beauty care and hygiene products, but the difference between their products and other competitors is that they sell 100% natural and organic products. But that's not the only benefit of this awesome company. Check out the following facts about Maple Holistics:

  • Made in the USA
  • Cruelty Free
  • All Natural
  • Sulfate Free
  • Safe for Color Treated Hair

So what's not to love about this company, am I right? If you have any questions, you can check out their extensive FAQ here

Let's Be Bubbly

Like I said earlier, Maple Holistics was nice enough to sponsor this post and sent me an awesome product to test out. The product they sent me a was full sized bottle of their Eucalyptus Hybrid Bubble Bath. For the record, this is how this product is described on their site:

Eucalyptus Hybrid Bubble Bath enhances any size bath with an abundance of bubbles and moisturizing qualities. our unique Eucalyptus Hybrid Formula delivers the most therapeutic value while contributing natural skin benefits to deliver everything you can expect from this therapeutic bubble bath."

So after reading that, I was thrilled to learn that I was going to get to try this lustrous product. But became even more excited when I received it and read the ingredients which consist of good stuff like, aloe vera, vitamin E, Eucalyptus smithii oil, and many more!

Needless to say after reading all the great info about this about the product and opening it up to be graced with a lovely smell, I was so excited to run a bath and soak for awhile. Which is exactly what I did.

When I first poured the bubble bath the calming aromas of of eucalyptus with hints of citrus filled my bathroom instantly as bubbles filled my bathtub. Before getting in, to add a little more to my relaxing dip, I added a tiny bit of lavender oil (which complimented the scent of the bubble bath perfectly by the way) as well as some epsom salts to ease my sore muscles. But as soon as I slipped in to my bath it was over, I was hooked and knew I found a new favorite bubble bath

For the record, when I unwind in the tub I enjoy reading and soaking for 30 minutes, and in my experience the foaming of the bubbles in the other products I use don't even last much over 15. Maple Holistics Eucalyptus Hybrid Bubble Bath however, didn't even start to give way until about the 20 minute mark and didn't even completely fizzle out after my full soak. Then after finishing the rest of my beauty routine, I could tell my skin was softer than it normally is and seemed to even have a bit more life too it, and obviously to top it off I smelled amazing.

Final Thoughts

IMG_3329.JPG

Now here I am a week later after using the product and I've noticed my skin is about 90% more radiant and much softer than it was before!  So I think it's safe to say that if you want to use an all natural product to treat yourself with, buying from Maple Holistics is the way to go. And so you know they have tons of other skin care, hair care, and even health food products! So if you want to check out their shop you can either click their name throughout the article or here
