#OOTD: I Got You Babe (What We Wore)

There are so many things that I love about John. (You know, the guy you folks never get to see because he's generally behind the camera photographing me for these posts.) Some of those being he is smart, funny, patient, kind, and he is always impeccably dressed--no matter how much he disagrees with me on that last statement. Though I generally don't post much personal stuff on here (except for that one time I posted some photos of Rollie) I decided in the spirit of the season that it was time for me to share a little bit more about myself with you guys.

If you have been following me on Instagram, you know that for the holidays John and I had a lovely couples photo shoot at Winghart's in South Side last Thursday. And since I've been wanting to open up to my readers a little more, I have decided to share some of our favorite photos from the shoot here.

Winter Flowers

At the beginning of this article, I told you all about how John has so many admirable traits, however I have to say that my favorite is how patient he is. For those of you that do not know me personally, though I am a happy, cheery, person I am also an incredibly high strung perfectionist and I worry about literally everything. Even this shoot, for example. Our original plans fell through meaning we had to improvise, which though I am good at it, I still hate when things don't run smoothly and I end up panicking. However, John is totally my voice of reason in these situations, and if you are reading this, I just want to say thank you for that, Affection Rabbit.

However, another trait I mentioned was actually the first thing I ever noticed about John, and that was how well dressed he was--even after a long day at warped tour. (I'm still not quite sure why he asked me for my number that day, because honestly I was a hot mess. The first thing I said to him was "Oh my god! You're my dog's twin's dad!!" Long story short, via a mutual friend, John and I were friends on Facebook I found out John's dog Maya looks almost identical to Rollie, she's just shorter.) So naturally due to both of our loves of timeless style, we had a blast styling and having our photos taken for this post.

To Affection Rabbit:  I just have to say how appreciative I am of everything you do for me, John. I feel like I am the luckiest little lady to have met you and that you are now a part of my life, I cannot even put into words how grateful I truly am. I think you're the absolute best and I just love you.
