#OOTD: Two Textured

Wow. The weather here in Pittsburgh has been highly unusual this winter, is it possible I got my wish for Autumn year round?! Though I'm holding my breath that it has in fact come true (I mean it's going to be 64 degrees on Christmas!) I know eventually the good weather will subside and it will be bitter cold, but seriously for now it's gorgeous out. This being said, I'm taking the opportunity to wear some more of my favorite fall pieces! And today's is my adorable and majorly comfy textured sweatshirt!

Texture Game

I'm not going to lie, when my mum first gave me this piece I wasn't incredibly keen on it. Though I liked the neutral color block, when it was on the hanger I just couldn't get past the mixed textures. To me it just looked boxy and a bit messy for my taste. However, once I put it on, I fell in love with it! The woven front of this sweatshirt really gives this playful, laid back look a bit more of a grown-up and sophisticated feel.

Just A Little Sparkle

Just to dress it up a tiny bit more, I added my simple spiked crystal cuff from BIJOUX USA. This little gem adds a bit of shine to the outfit without contrasting too much with this top's casual appeal. (Love this little piece? Wish-list Wednesday (Feat. SheIn's Huge Holiday Sale Items!)

Hi loves, happy Wish-list Wednesday! I know I haven't been doing these nearly as often as I should lately, but I've been so busy with collaborations, work, and the holiday, I don't know if I want to laugh or cry!

• After viewing this very pretty piece I've decided that I need to embrace what my inner fire sign is telling me to do, and get this in my wardrobe next year (is it possible by New Years Eve?!). I just think it's absolutely perfect for a girls night out or a date night.

• Ah, the classic and effortlessly chic shirt dress. These kinds of dresses are my favorite because they are so low key and can be worn for just about any occasion!

• I just thought these earrings were gorgeous, plain and simple! And they would match so nicely with my hair.

• Ever since my beloved Steve Madden combat boots finally wore out last year (R.I.P. you are missed guys!) I have been looking for something a bit different and I just thought these would do just the trick.

• Since I am a sucker for bows, when I came across this gem with a bow at the waist I just knew I needed it for next fall. However the striped pattern does make it different from what I generally wear.

• This is what I'd call a classic me dress. I love floral and flares, end of story.

• Just because a girl can never have too many scarves.

#BLOGMAS: My Cozy Winter Essentials

Seasons greetings everybody! Wow, I can't believe it's already December 15th, meaning only ten more days until CHRISTMAS!!! Considering this is my second favorite time of the year,  I'm very excited to be gearing up for the holiday festivities. Though the holiday season is super fun, it can also be super stressful. Between last minute gift shopping, making the "family visits" game plan, and all the other Yuletide craziness, I sometimes forget to just chill out and take a breather. That's why for this blogmas post I thought I would share the top 14 things that help me stay sane-- I mean relax, throughout the season.

Yankee Snowflake Cookie Candle, Lush Golden Wonder Bath Bomb, Victoria Secret Hydrating Body Lotion, and loads of lip balm. (Because everyone can use some pampering!)
 

Aerie "Oh What Fun" sleep shirt, Flannel Boxers, and Snuggly Star Robe. (So you can be cozy reading by the fire.)
 

Ugly (but warm!) Ralph Lauren sweater, fleece lined leggings, fleece lined slipper socks, and a fuzzy blanket. (These are the essentials for when you visit your aunt's house that always seems to be freezing--come on, you know we all have that one relative!)
 

Good Reads (For when you are bored because you're snowed in.)
 

And finally for when you're home and unwinding: Festive mugs, hot chocolate, Pinnacle Peppermint Bark Vodka (to spike the hot chocolate), and lastly for that sugar rush, and in my opinion the best winter sweets, candy canes!
